The Shakespeare's Head is a Brighton institution! Pick and mix sausages a mash options with insanely good gravy to go with. All in a lovely cosy space near seven dials. Often bring friends in when they are visiting as it's bloody ace.

Our meal was an hour late. ..not great. Mine was very salty. Red onion gravy was nice. Sausages beautifully cooked. Like the fact you could choose your sausage then your mash and gravy.

We were recommended to this pub and we loved it. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the staff (Olly and Dulcie) were right on the ball. Bangers and mash is their specialty, and it was scrumptious. Great sausages, and I really enjoyed the cheddar...More

Came while on a business trip and on the strength of Google and TripAdvisor recommendations. It is a bit frayed round the edges, and the new front of house/management team are still finding their feet having only started earlier this week. But they're very friendly,...More
