Don't know why the photo is showing a thai restaurant, we were in the ranelagh on Saturday evening and it definitely is a pub!!!!!!!!!!!! What a scream, they had a band on "the southern blues kings" they were brilliant. rock&roll, swing, jazzfunk. our hosts pete and lauren made us feel very welcome, we only went in for a quick drink... My daughter and I visited here on our weekend trip to Brighton. I was born here when my parents ran the pub in the 60's and was looking forward to coming back to visit. We were made very welcome by Peter, the manager, and had a really good evening. Real character local friendly pub. Look forward to visiting again!!!

My mum and I visited this pub on a Friday night whilst on a weekend away in Brighton. We were welcomed with a smile and the staff were so very friendly. We had a lovely chat with the gentleman behind the bar about the history of the pub and the events they run now. There was a singer on whilst... More

This is a quaint little pub. The staff and clientele are friendly. It has a small garden although they had the door shut so I couldn’t hear the live music. The downside of being a smoker, I guess.
