Contrasted feedback ... service was excellent : very professional, very customer friendly, quick. We've found this place very cosy and warm. However we were quite disappointed with the food. Nothing bad but not up to the quality we thought we would find.

We popped into the place during the week before Christmas having left a nearby place rather unhappy. Was instantly greeted by a wonderful smell of mulled wine, lovely decorations and a very polite member of staff ready to take our order. The music was really...More

We've been to this pub several times, usually just popping in for a drink but we've also enjoyed some terrific meals. The oysters are to die for.. Called in on NYE a couple of years ago and despite being busy they found us a table....More

27/11/17 visited here for lunch today and what a fabulous experience it was. My husband had the scotch egg starter and he said it was so tasty and we both had the fish and chips, that was the best we'd had in a long time....More

This is potentially a perfect hideaway from the busy city centre, tucked away in a corner of the Lanes. Dark wood, a roaring fire in winter, decent food, lovely staff. But..it STINKS. A plea to the management, get rid of that smell. It's like a...More

Came here for the first time. Lovely atmosphere and is one of the oldest pubs in Brighton which is in the lanes. Drinks a little expensive. Service was great and I would definitely go back at some point.

My wife and I Sunday roast beef here. The beef was very tender and came with all the trimmings. We did not book a table but would recommend that you do as it gets very busy. The staff were very friendly and polite. Waited 45...More

We chanced across this pub whilst looking for somewhere to have Sunday lunch a few weeks ago. We thought it was a good sign when we saw how many tables were reserved for lunch, and we were right! The bar staff showed us towards a...More

However popular the North Laine becomes, the heart of Brighton will always remain The Lanes themselves. There are plenty of pubs among the twisting narrow streets, but none is as well known as the Bath Arms, which enjoys a reputation among tourists and locals alike as THE pub of The Lanes.
