There are certainly mixed reviews for this restaurant. Here is my addition. I found the interior rather out dated and depressing. But not as depressing as the food. This is the menu description: British crab spaghetti £7.50 / £13.75 With chilli, fennel, capers, white wine & garlic, topped with lemon zest & extra virgin olive oil What I received was... More

we made reservations early in the day. the restaurant was just around the corner from our hotel. when we arrived there was a bit of confusion as the reservation wasn't on the books, but as there was plenty of room, no problem. However, we asked for a booth and were told that you had to ask for that ahead of... More

Mine and my boyfriends first visit to Jamie's and it was a fantastic experience. Our waitress, Maddy and Waitrose, George, were both so charming. They were always there when we needed them, unprompted. Food was fantastic and atmosphere was perfect.

Overpriced, overvalued, tourists only. Good location at the exit of the lanes , close to seafront. No seafront view dough.

I've been to many Jamie's Italian's and this one doesn't disappoint. The food is delicious and the service great. I'm a Gold Club Member and this provides you with free drinks and food (depending on the offer at the time) - it's free so worth a go. Will return and would highly recommend

We had to wait a bit for our starters and it was a quiet night, but it was all worth the wait. I got a small plate of pasta and it was yummy. House red wine was very good.

JAMIE'S ITALIAN BRIGHTON A partnership between Jamie Oliver and his Italian mentor, chef Gennaro Contaldo, Jamie's Italian has won thousands of fans for its delicious and affordable food since launching their first restaurant in Oxford in May 2008. The Jamie's Italian menu is based on dishes you'd find people eating all over Italy, made with care but delivered without fuss. The family-friendly restaurants are all about serving up rustic, Italian food made using the best possible ingredients, plus fresh pasta that's made on-site every day, and an award-winning children's menu, too. The lovely Brighton restaurant is located on Black Lion Street, a stone's throw from the seafront, nestled within Brighton's famous Lanes. The rooftop terrace is a great spot to enjoy a drink and a bowl of our freshly made pasta or a burger after a trip to the beach, or relax in one of the cosy booths and watch the chefs at work in their beautiful open kitchen. There's something for everyone here, whatever the occasion - a quick bite with friends or a big family dinner - come in and soak up the atmosphere while you tuck into some delicious Italian food.
