We came here to eat as a party of 15.On arrival we were shown upstairs for our booking. We ordered beer and wine which took 30 mins plus to come.when questioned we are busy tonight.surely the business would accommodate a party booking before hand but that was not the case. The table seating was upstairs towards the toilet area. We were... More

We visited here for my girlfriends birthday because we love tapas and read a lot of good reviews about the place. It is a very cosy restaurant with a nice atmosphere. We had a variety of sharing dishes and the food on the whole was really nice. Unfortunately what really let down the visit was the poor and slow service... More

Amazing. I recommend Aguadulce to all of my family and friends. There is plenty to choose from on the menu, all at a very reasonable price, and everything I have tried in my many visits here has been delicious. The staff are lovely and welcoming, the decor is nice and the atmosphere peaceful - perfect for enjoying wonderfully prepared food... More

Popped in with my drinking buddy for a few a drinks and ended up tucking into the new bar tapitas menu. £2.75 for anyone and drink offers on gin. Was great and the bar tender looked after us so well.

Friendly welcome, service acceptable, although a bit long winded. Food as expected, most dishes really nice,a couple only average. Dealt with a menu problem really nicely. All in all a nice experience. Can't do much about other diners though.

Great selection of tapas, nice and laid back and a decent wine list too. Wrap this up in a great location near the pier and we would definitely go back.

First time there last night. Food was very good. The paella was wonderful. The only thing is it being a little bit more expensive than others, but I'd go again.

We ordered some tapas and they were actually good. Paella a big disappointment, overcooked rice and almost no flavour but garlic. Probably they changed management, some times ago it was actually good. They didn't ask for a dessert!!!!!!

Description
Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and daytrippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. Inside you'll find a simple dining room with polished wooden floors, cream walls and red and yellow accents, and the restaurant has a homely, chilled vibe. We love the presa Iberian pork pan-fried with garlic and bay leaves and served with potatoes; and the patatas mojopicon - deep-fried potatoes with a cumin, garlic and tomato salsa.
