Second visit to AguaDulce; On 5th August arrived by myself 6.30ish and greeted by young lady (possibly Spanish). There were only two tables taken, both in the window one of three the other of four and she tried to sit me at a table for two by the access point to the Entrance, Kitchen, Toilets, etc, I asked for a... This was our second visit and must say it was every bit as good as the first. The evening we visited the power had gone for the second time that day, but this didn't seem to upset them or at least they did not show this to their customers, they just carried on until the power returned. Our meal was... More

My partner and I always come back to this restaurant because the experience is always worth it. The staff are so open, friendly and happy to give advice or recommendations on the menu. The food itself is the best quality and everything is just delicious. We always start with the Sopa de Mariscos because there's nothing else like it anywhere!... More

A welcoming and popular, bustling restaurant, run by friendly Spanish staff. Eager to please with amazingly high standards, outstanding service and attention to detail. Succulent food, bursting with Spanish flavour.

Went to Aguadulce with my wife on a Thursday night. Was quiet but we were greeted by friendly staff who sat us down and explained the specials available. A nice restaurant with a good ambience and does feel like your in Spain. The food was very good, particularly enjoyed the sardines and stew. Would recommend to anyone looking for a... More

Down a side road off the sea front you could easily miss the Agua Dulce, so glad we didn't. Popped in for Tapas and a bottle of wine for a break in shopping. Portions are generous and good quality, the house wine is very good and reasonably priced. Thoroughly recommended.

We've been here twice - once to celebrate my nephew's graduation and the second time to meet up for a meal with our son on his wedding anniversary. Both times the food was excellent, the staff really friendly and attentive and the price very reasonable. I would recommend it to families who want a relaxed place to eat with their... More

Booked a table on a busy sunny Saturday night. The choice of tapas is extensive including a list of specials. We ordered nine dishes between four of us. Every one of them was perfectly cooked and so delicious. Especially the goats cheese special. Yum! The atmosphere and service were perfect too. Would definitely recommend this place.

Booked a table here after reading all the reviews and we weren't disappointed. Staff were lovely, decor great and food was amazing - we especially liked the mussels. Would definitely eat here again next time we visit Brighton

Description
Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and daytrippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. Inside you'll find a simple dining room with polished wooden floors, cream walls and red and yellow accents, and the restaurant has a homely, chilled vibe. We love the presa Iberian pork pan-fried with garlic and bay leaves and served with potatoes; and the patatas mojopicon - deep-fried potatoes with a cumin, garlic and tomato salsa.
