The menu is varied, offering options to those who are vegetarian and also those with food allergies. Service was good, food tasted fresh, I would recommend this restaurant.

My husband booked us a meal here to go to early evening before a concert. We had a very warm welcome and the staff were extremely polite, friendly and courteous throughout. We ordered fish cakes and tomyum soup to start and chicken pad Thai and sweet and sour chicken and sticky rice for main. The food was hot, very well presented... More

Not a restaurant I'll go raving about to all my friends, but we did have a nice lunch here. We got the 2 course lunch menu for under £10. Don't get the crispy noodle starter without asking what it is, I was not prepared! However the pork skewers were delicious. The red thai curry could have been a little spicier... More

My partner and I were looking for somewhere to eat for an early dinner and stumbled across Sabai. We were just in time for the lunch time deal and were really impressed. The staff were attentive, and the food delicious, beautifully presented, flavoursome and hot. Great value for money. Definitely recommend a visit!

We ordered via Deliveroo after seeing all the good reviews on trip advisor/vegan options but upon arrival we were very underwhelmed both with flavour and portion size. We had a vege spring roll starter which was the best part of the meal, but only four rolls for the price was disappointing. The massaman curry with "vegan chicken pieces" was bland... More

We always love Thai food and maybe right now, I think we have become quite expert on authenticity and presentation. However on our recent visit we were quite disappointed as the Tom Yum Gai was cold when served and the stir fried chicken with basil was far too sweet and must of had too much sugar in it.

We came here relatively frequently whilst living in Brighton and it is my favourite Thai restaurant. The food is always delicious and bursting with flavour, the cocktails are amazing and the service is great. When I visit Brighton again, I will be coming here without a doubt, and would recommend it to anyone.

I'm pretty obsessed with Thai food and this exceeded expectations. Green curry fantastic and best pad Thai I've have outside of Thailand. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

First meal from Sabai (via dinner2go delivery service). The food arrived in just over an hour which was acceptable. All dishes were excellent. The 3 of us each had a starter and a main meal. It was authentic, spicy Thai food. The real deal! We will certainly visit Sabai for an eat in dinner based on the quality of the... More

I hadn't visited Sabai for a long time until I did last week and it was just as good as I remember. The food was so delicious (I had the panang curry) and everything was reasonably priced. It was also really nice to have the option of a vegan wine, and the vegan food options were clearly marked on the... More

Sabai show's tremendous consistency having won a certificate of excellence award for the last 4 years running. The Thai word Sabai translates simply as relaxed, the perfect description of this Brighton gastrobar where the urban cool of London on Sea is matched to the ethnic charm of the Land of Smiles. Bringing a taste of Phuket's beach bars and Bangkok's most upmarket restaurants to the UK, Sabai is all about chilling out, South East Asian style a fact which is patently clear from the silk floor cushions, cocktail menu and warm, smiling welcome. The deep red and dark wood, gold and green interior is as beautiful as Sabai's freshly cooked, authentic food, MSG free and made using local ingredients where possible and imported Thai herbs and spices where essential. Because everything is made to order, special requests are welcomed.
