The food is not bad. However the service is very poor, the decoration is old fashion and doesn't seems to be clean enough for a restaurant. Also, we had listen the same song at least 60 times during our lunch.. "la prima cosa Bella" I'm pretty sure that i will have a nightmare with this song tonight!!

Have just had a family meal in this restaurant, honestly i am not really fussy with food, but could have got a better fish and chips in wetherspoon's and for the extortionate prices i won't be returning here if I'm back in Brighton.

Able too get a table straight away on a busy friday night, its very compact inside but adds to the atmosphere. Lovely table service but it was a very long wait for food, however this is mentioned when reading the menu as every dish is cooked from fresh.

Visited D'arcys for both lunches and dinner. Each visit we have had very good service and delicious meals. Favourite is the half lobster with tagliatelle- wonderful sauce!! The restaurant is a quaint little building - tables are set in small rooms. Worth a visit.

I visited the restaurant with my 2 daughters the other evening. Very, very disappointed. I had the half-lobster pasta. The main dish took ages to be served. When it arrived. My dish was disguised under pasta sauce. The Lobster tail had been removed and replaced with 2 small bits of the tail meat and a king prawn (with shell on!!).... More

We had a very tasty crab chowder and fisherman's pie at this restaurant last night. We did wait a while for the food but it was very nice when it arrived. The decor is dated in the restaurant but we'd go again if we were in the area.

We went for a family dinner in the weekend and this place looked nice at first sight. Though, soon it became clear we did not chose well. We were the only ones in the restaurant and had to wait for our food for about an hour. Meanwhile, the staff who were not really friendly at all had nothing better to... More

there is always a long wait after ordering, there are flies in the restaurant and sometimes the fish and chips are not prepared properly. A couple waitresses are rude (no names mentioned) which is a shame. the inside of the restaurant could be redecorated and a washing facility could be in a easier place to access. overall just don't bother

Chanced upon D'arcys searching for a Sunday lunch. Simple muscles and fish, excellent chips, fresh and well prepared. Decor was a little long in the tooth for me (which some might find quaint) and space was tight. Service great.
