Visited for a pre theatre meal. Because it is so large - 2 floors, they have an extensile menu which has something to suit all tastes. The food was good, service was good and general ambience was OK. Only problem in this respect was that...More

Good service, portions on the small side, Toilet area outside kitchen needs to be addressed as very untidy and not what a customer expects to see.

Saturday lunch spot, fairly busy. Nevertheless, the staff made time for a pleasant chat both on arrival and departure and the waiting staff were equally attentive. A great Kir Royale to start with, beautifully cooked salmon for my friend and cassoulet for me - one...More

This is one of our favorite places to go for breakfast. The staff are always prompt, professional, friendly and polite. That's unusual for England! The breakfast has a large choice and some that include the tea and coffee. Unlike some other breakfast venues we've been...More

Went for an anniversary lunch. My partner and I are regular visitors to the restaurant and the food has always been consistently good, but not today. Both our meals were disappointing. The boeuf bourguigon was fatty and greasy, and the breton chicken was quite rubbery....More

I've never had a problem booking. Really easy online. Then you get an email on the day of your booking to see if you still want the table and to confirm it.

Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great prices. On the menu, guests will always find brasserie favourites on our a la carte menu such as steak frites, moules marinieres, corn-fed chicken from rural Brittany and tuna Nicoise, for dessert, Cote's creme caramel and creme brulee are much-loved house specialities. Seasonality and Cote's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients results in a monthly changing specials menu, ensuring there is always something new to delight regular guests and gastronomes alike, as well as the excellent value set menu. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; Cote's atmosphere is informal and friendly.
