Came here recently with my wife, staff were great and very welcoming. Ordered the gammon and the lamb roasts, very quick service and large portion, struggled to it, beautifully cooked and tasted delicious. Highly recommended and will be back

Good roast, big portions, good selection of beer. Unfortunately, waiting time and pricing up meals could potentially ruin your experience in the future.

Three years we have had a holiday in Brighton, and third visit to the Camelford Arms. We had the sharing platter, beautiful meats and cheese, and lots of bits to graze on. A place to go with great food.

Great pub with a fabulous kitchen and menu. My only gripe is the portions are way too big for me and I hate wasting food. The food is always brilliantly prepared and presented. The staff are very friendly and the pub clientele is very mixed...More

Been coming here for two years at least and there’s always been slight issues, mainly that the food used to take ages and looked (and tasted!!!!) like it had been just warmed up in the microwave. After a small break we came back and the...More

It's easy to think you've gone to the wrong place when you arrive at a back street typical pub. It seems over priced when you look at the menu. Don't be fooled and don't eat all day prior to visit. Food is amazing and portions...More

We visited here after finding you guys online beforehand. Easy to find and very welcoming. Staff very friendly. Food was so tasty and good value especially for the portion size you get.

Just went here here with our 10 month old baby. It’s a saturday lunchtime and the place was empty... but we were turned away! So no kids.

I didn't book and found a table no problem, might have been lucky though! I would give them a call.

Our pub has a simple approach - to be the sort of pub we would love to go to ourselves. When we go to a pub we like a warm welcome, friendly staff, good food and fine ales / wine - so this is what we offer at The Camelford. This creates the right atmosphere from which natural friendliness takes over, and before you know it, you are chatting away with those at the next table. Also a good pub should have dogs - and we are the most dog-friendly pub n town. Don't take our word for it - ask the pooches. Our (award-winning) food is served noon-9pm Mon to Sat, and from noon till 6pm on Sundays (where our roasts are legendary). Booking is advisable, but not necessary.
