Very, very good cuisine made by modern chefs. You can really see why people rave about the food on TA.... Fantastic soup, colourful dishes and plenty on your plate to fill your stomach. Yes, of course it's pricey for an Indian but the target audience expect to pay a high price for this type of experimental, forward thinking food. The... More

This is not your typical Indian Restaurant. The food is light, but spicy and presentation is excellent. The Marsala Dosa is great and I would definitely recommend the Thali platter. Not a cheap place to eat but excellent food.

A scallop starter was so overcooked that it resembled a puree. A mutton curry was mostly sauce, served with just a few pieces of meat, rice & salad. Pretty poor value at around £26 for 2 courses. A sea bream fared much better.

Booked at Indian Summer as the Chilli Pickle only had late sittings available. 5 people in our party and all of us loved the food, service and atmosphere of the place. Can't fault it, a real treat, great food, unpretentious, attentive service, great value and good portion sizes. We'd all happily go again. Thanks to all the staff for a... More

Here is a restaurant which claims to serve real Indian food. Its décor has very little to do with India, but that is not a drawback. We wanted a small supper, and asked for dhal – the simplest of Indian dishes. We have had better and hotter dhal in many other Indian restaurants in the UK, not to mention in... More

My good friends chose this place to eat and I was more than happy to join in. I am particularly partial to a good steak or fish of any sort but I was willing to go with the flow. Being honest I do like Indian food but I had never eaten vegetarian. The whole meal was outstanding, great choices on... More

Great atmosphere and amazing food. Authentic Indian taste - the best Indian food I have eaten outside India. Lassi delicious. Lovely extra touches like appetiser of delicious soup which my son wanted to take home in a flask, and mouth cleansing sorbet. We all ordered different starters and mains and they were totally fabulous. Service brilliant. Highly, highly recommended.
