This is a wonderful restaurant. From the outside it looks like a small shop or cafe but it is much larger further back. I visited with a friend who is not vegetarian and we both agreed it was one of our favourite meals ever. I have been lucky enough to visit some wonderful vegetarian restaurants including Dirt Candy in New... More

Myself and my brother in law went here last Saturday. It is a beautiful restaurant. My brother in law is vegetarian he felt like a kid in a sweet shop with the choice of food. Both our courses were superb. The detail on the menu on the ingredients on each course is a great idea. Service was excellent and the... More

My partner and I ate here last night to celebrate my 51st birthday. As a confirmed meat eater, this was something of a left field decision, but what a decision it proved to be. The restaurant was quiet and we had undivided attention from the waiting team. Some great winter cocktails (gin with brambles, prosecco with raspberry and elderflower) preceded... More

Came here for desserts after leaving Six Restaurant in Brighton due to the shocking service (or lack of)- Our waiter at Terre a Terre was excellent and very attentive. The desserts were also amazing! Lovely atmosphere too. Great if you're looking for a vegan dessert that's epic!

My boyfriend and I decide to have an afternoon tea at Terr a Terre as they offer a vegan option for myself as well as a vegetarian option for him. And a what a taste sensation it was! 100% value for money and our waiter Dirk was the most charming and friendly host! Thank for an amazing time! Highly recommended!... More

Last visited over 10 years ago and last Saturday 26/11/16 was pleased to see it was still just as good. 4 meat eaters left satisfied and happy!

As this was our first visit we opted for the suggested menu at £35 per head. Bread and nachos were provided as appetisers. The starter choice was soupe or fries. The soupe was decent, the fries were oily and tasteless. The main choice was rösti or duck steam parcels and dessert was churros or rice ball (again fried). Little flavour,... More

Thank you for your feedback following your recent meal. Sorry to hear you were disappointed this time. A little confused as we don't have Nachos on the menu, serve fries as a starter and certainly don't serve duck. We are always happy to make a requested cocktail assuming we have the ingredients in the bar as mentioned on the menu... More

I'm a visitor from Australia, and had the good fortune to be visiting Brighton with a friend who has eaten at this restaurant many times. Vegetarian? I thought - hmmmm and reserved judgment, being the carnivore that I am. (We Aussies love our meat). I'm converted! The choice of food was incredibly varied and wonderfully described on the menus. I... More

We visited Terre a Terre last night for a birthday celebration meal and we were not disappointed. We are spoilt in Brighton when it comes to vegan/veggie restaurants but Terre a Terre is a cut above the rest. The cocktail wine and beer menu is extensive and the beers/cocktails we picked were delicious. The food was incredible as always, tofu... More

Description
Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant that will have even the most ardent carnivore waxing lyrical. Situated close to the sea-front. The decor is chic and stylish, using wooden floors and furniture to contrast with vibrant colours. But here the food is the centrepiece: dhal basmati buns with coconut curry leaf chatni, better Batter and Lemony Yemeni Relish and Thai aubergine jungle curry are just a few of the exotic and imaginative dishes you can find here. To complement the food, a large selection of organic beers, ciders and wines are available. A three course meal here costs an average of £30 per person. A refreshing take on vegetarian cuisine.
