A gastronomic experience that meat eaters will also enjoy. All kinds of flavours that I've never tried before. Fresh bread is gorgeous and for sale go take away.

We were on holiday in Brighton and a local recommended this to us. Being a vegetarian it's rare I can go to a restaurant of this quality and be able to eat everything on the menu! So much choice. Struggling to choose we went for the sharing platters. Loved the food. So fresh. And the chocoholic sharing platter was to... More

I never understand the menu but that's part of the fun. The food is so incredible with fascinating taste combinations that work. It's a very special place and well worth going to even if you think vegetarian food isn't your thing. My rabidly non-veg partner loves it too!

Took my parents and sister here for a meal as I'm a now vegetarian as of 4 months ago. Have been a regular at Food For Friends for a while now and love the food, atmosphere and service there! Thus obviously wanted to try Terre a Terre. We had two lots of the Terre a Tapas Sharing Plate which costs... More

The best vegetarian meal I have ever had. The presentation is truly a work of art and the food is just amazing. Great flavours and brilliant combination of ingredients that just work so well together. The staff are lovely very friendly and helpful. If I lived in Brighton would definitely visit on a regular basis.

I can't really fault my experience at Terre a Terre. The menu was a completely different language to me, but everything on the menu looked so interesting we didn't know what to go for. In the end we settled for the tapas to share to get a taste of everything, and had some "beautiful bread" (it really is beautiful!). I... More

Poor vegetarian husband took ages to choose from a menu from which he could eat anything - not used to the choice ;-) All our starters were sublime. Especially loved the Korea fried cauliflower and the tofu skewers. The mains were good but a bit rich - bit heavy on the tahini and miso possibly a bit too sweet for... More

Description
Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant that will have even the most ardent carnivore waxing lyrical. Situated close to the sea-front. The decor is chic and stylish, using wooden floors and furniture to contrast with vibrant colours. But here the food is the centrepiece: dhal basmati buns with coconut curry leaf chatni, better Batter and Lemony Yemeni Relish and Thai aubergine jungle curry are just a few of the exotic and imaginative dishes you can find here. To complement the food, a large selection of organic beers, ciders and wines are available. A three course meal here costs an average of £30 per person. A refreshing take on vegetarian cuisine.
