Rushing around Brighton, a friend and I decided to have a quick lunch in Las Iguanas, in the very central Jubilee Street. Our quick lunch turned into a long lunch because the atmosphere was very relaxed, our pleasant waiter, Tiberio, attentive, and the food and prices very acceptable. We shall definitely return there next time we are in Brighton.

I have eaten at Las iguanas around 3 times now. Two of them I made the mistake of ordering a main course. Both times I was slightly disappointed, the flavours and originality I wanted from the food just weren't there. However, the starters that you can choose to order as a tapas selection instead are simply amazing! Could not fault... More

Had the most fabulous meal in Las Iguanas Brighton. We had chicken wings for starters which were cooked to perfection; the chicken was moist and just fell off the bone , yet the skin crispy unlike in some restaurants where the skin is slimy ! Following this we had barbecue ribs in a sauce, chips , salad and coleslaw. Again... More

We've heard lots of things about las iguanas. However despite pre booking a table we were delayed in being seated. Which was ok it was busy, but then it took over half an hour for our waitress to come back and take our order , then at least another 50 mins for our food to arrive. When it did arrive... More

Cold evening, we were sat by the window which was very draughty so we moved but the restaurant was still fairly chilly. Service all evening was fairly poor, we were waiting a while to get someone despite the restaurant being pretty empty. The food itself was average, not nearly as nice as the food I have had from Las Iguanas... More

Came here with work colleagues and had a great time. Catered for vegans, veggies and coeliacs with ease and such an extensive range it was very hard to choose. Food was amazing, well presented and very tasty and couldn't fault the service. Would also recommend the Cocktails.

Walk through the doors of Las Iguanas and find yourself transported to Latin America, full of rich, vibrant colours, quirky features and custom-made wooden mosaic tables made especially for the restaurant from sustainable woods in Brazil. Each restaurant is unique and the staff love bringing unusual things back from their travels, ranging from large lobster sculptures to giant drums. The philosophy of Las Iguanas is to serve delicious and authentic Latin American food and drink in an environment which evokes the very best of Latin life. With recipes dating back to the 16th century, the food successfully fuses native Latin American Indian, Spanish, Portuguese and African influences. Working hard to ensure that everything comes from the best possible source, Las Iguanas is proud of its fresh GM free food and top quality ingredients.
