Small space inside the restaurant but it was nice and cozy. Also warm and toasty, just comfortable. Perfect for a romantic dinner. We've not had whelks before and we didn't even know what they were but boy were we glad we tried it! Dish didn't look anything special, didn't even look pretty but it was full of flavour! It was... Visited for the second sitting Saturday evening at 9pm. Lovely food and service which could not be faulted. Garlic prawns to start were particularly delicious but everything executed really well. Been here three times for dinner now and each occasion superb.

I've eaten here twice and both times have had a fantastic meal. The wine list is also good and the service excellent. The menu is always a good selection and whether you want meat or fish it is presented and cooked to perfection. The main thing for me is that even though this restaurant is at the top end of... Visiting Hastings on a regular basis, we're always on the look out for somewhere new for us to eat. St Clements is definitely going on the list. The food is delicious, with a wide selection of fish and seafood, which you expect being so near the sea. We both had seafood spaghetti which was delicious. The service and wine list... More

This is a Michelin restaurant and was very busy. We booked in advance. It was a warm evening and the doors were left open to let in some air. Service was very good. We choose of a set menu as it was cheaper. We had pork pate starter, then pork main meal and summer dessert. It was well presented but... More

High quality food and a very nice ambience. Service was excellent. A little pricy but not more than the food and service warranted. We would highly recommend and will definitely go again.

We like to eat out and do so whenever we can and when we make a decision to do so, even if we have been there recently we would go again. A great restaurant with good ideas about food and tasty and beautifully prepared. go and see for yourself. We might even be there!

This was my 2nd visit. My first visit was disappointing. My other half (who loves this place) said I'd mis-ordered. She was right! This time I stuck to what I know, left the artichokes alone, and had a stonkingly good meal! The chicken-liver terrine was soft, subtle, and lush. The seafood spaghetti was a bit on the expensive side at... More

A lovely place to celebrate Mothers Day. A Full restaurant with a lively and friendly atmosphere. Every course of the extensive set menu was delicious and all four of us were delighted with our meals especially the hake and seaweed and all of the desserts - panacotta, choc truffle and Salted caramel. Accompanied by Local Kent wine Chapel Down rose... More

Our go to restaurant for all special occasions. Tucked away in St Leonards this gem is a must for lunch or dinner. Always consistently good especially their seafood and fish. Very knowledgeable staff especially the young girl who served us regarding the different spirits and mixers at the bar! Such a choice and the wine list is good with again... More
