I would firstly like to clear up, The reason for rating this poor was not due to the food or service from waitresses. Was desperate to visit this restaurant so treated my mum and sister to lunch on Saturday. The food was piping hot and...More

I've eaten here on numerous occasions because they used to do better than average fish and chips, but then they put the prices up and the quality deteriorated. The last time I went the fish batter was soggy and for 12.95 you'd really expect better.

Slightly cramped and very noisy on a busy Saturday night - that gets the grumbles out of the way. Then the food; a great range of imaginative fish dishes. A bouillabaisse-style fish stew was loaded with mussels, prawns, langoustine etc. then topped with a beautiful...More

They sure do. It's a steak and fish restaurant so a varied mix. But various other choices too. Can recommend the goats cheese starter, it's huge for a starter, but very tasty!

Whites is in the heart of the old town of Hastings. With seating inside and out and doing the best seafood that Hastings has to offer.we try and use as much local produce as we can, using our own R.X fishing fleet for example. Our biggest seller by far is fresh English mussels, we sell in excess of 150 to 250 kilo's a week. And of course local haddock or cod with homemade tartar sauceOn the meat side we use a small independent country butchers, supplying the best British meat to offer. Please remember we do good food not fast food
