Lovely view, really friendly staff and good fish and chips. Fair price too. Recommend but you have to book at busy times. Most importantly it is cash only, so go prepared.

Visited Maggies fish and chips today and was not disappointed. Food was excellent and cooked to perfection. No residue of oil and inedible batter. We had the small portion and it was adequate for us ladies. will certainly return when in Hastings again.

Quaint and cosy. Food was amazing with batter just right - not thick and stodgy - and chips extra crispy. Nice views too

Sorry, I've no idea. I've never seen any dogs there but that doesn't mean they don't. Just call and check. Hopefully for you they will.

Lots of public car parks near by. However during the day, the queues for them can be huge!

Description
Here at Maggie's we're in our third decade of serving you hearty portions of the freshest fish, cooked to order, in a warm and welcoming cafe - the same traditional family-friendly approach as when Margaret Banfield first put her name above the door. We're right on the Fisherman's Beach - so you'll enjoy some spectacular views while you tuck in to our fish, direct from the market below us and our specials are straight off the boats with the morning catch - keeping a carbon footprint of less than 20 miles. You can't get fresher than that! Maggie's is licensed too, so you can enjoy a glass of wine or a beer with your meal. We are open six days a week, but it's advisable to call us ahead to reserve your table, and if you've got a special occasion, we welcome parties of up to 40 guests.
