After a morning country walk, a friend and I stopped off in Lewes and popped into 'Bills' for Brunch. Atmosphere was jumping, food was tasty and delicious, plus the service was attentive with a suitable cheeky edge. All topped off with a shameless but divine cocktail. We were sat right next to the door, which also served as our entertainment.... More

I've visited Bills many times and love it. The place itself is quirky and has a great atmosphere. Staff are friendly and the food comes in good time as well as tastes amazing. The variety on the menu is a plus point and no matter where you are in the restaurant you are always comfortable. It's positioned in a lovely... More

A superb lunch with great service. The £10.90 2 course lunch menu was incredible value for money, My companion had the soup and I had the ham hock terrine, both truly delicious. We then both had the Sea Bass which was cooked to perfection. Definitely a place to return to, or, visit my local Bills on Eastbourne.

I found this particular Bills a little unkempt in comparison to others. It seemed more cramped. The toilets were accessible via the bar/kitchen area which I found awkward and the toilet area was scruffy. Pancakes were good, plenty of tea. Average prices. Staff were friendly.

This is a busy restaurant / cafe but still maintained a cosy feel with great staff and tasty food and drinks. This particular branch has changed my feelings towards this chain. I visited one in another City on a couple of occasions( when living in that same City) and always felt as if it could so with a good clean... More

I went for breakfast here a while ago and the food is excellent but also quite generously priced.. I ended up ordering 2 dishes (eggs royal and pancakes) as 1 just would not have been enough! Plus when you add on the price of a banana smoothie (for the hangover!) it starts to get pretty pricey... but like I say,... More

Trendy restaurant full of young couples, babies and families. Great food, service a bit slow as it was so busy ... wish they had a greeter here at busy times as never sure whether to bag a table or hang around trying to engage a waiter ... !! A cert if you want food food, but a bit slow so... More

Visited a year or so ago and found the service and food was still excellent with young ones being readily accommodated. Meals arrived quickly after ordering and good presentation and hot. A really relaxing place to 'kick back' , enjoy food and company especially on such a bitterly cold and dank day. Good value.

Having visited the Brighton Bills on many occasions I was expecting great things from the Original Bills.... not to be The poached eggs were hard and cold and the toast a little on the stale side. I think Bill would be shocked at how standards have slipped since selling out.... it's definitely got that "part of a chain" feel to... More
