Had a lovely experience at The cobbles Tea room for my husband birthday . We had sandwiches prawn . Lovely presentation . Then we had Victoria sandwich cake and lemon drizzle cake . When they presented it they had put candles in the cake . So thoughtful . Definitely worth a visit .

Maybe the end of winter is not the time to review a tea shop in an English seaside town. But things seemed grey and thin on this visit to an old favourite. The jam that goes with the scones was that gluey bright red stuff. The music was Classic FM stuffed with ads about medical supplies for the over 65s.... More

I don't normally respond to reviews but your's has offended me so much; so here goes. We are a well know and successful tearoom in Rye and attract a wide variety of customers . Sometimes, especially on market days, we get a more mature clientele which we wholeheartedly celebrate. We do not discriminate or judge people based on their age.... More

Amazing visit yesterday. Clean, calm atmosphere with great service. Food was huge. My friend had a tuna bagette which was huge but also came with a massive side salad and coleslaw. The hot chocolate was to die for and was decadent. I had the gluten free afternoon tea (pictured) and didn't have to book. There was lots of availability of... More

Popped in on a Friday afternoon, had the afternoon tea which included sandwich, cake, scone and tea. It was all delicious. Friendly staff and a quaint little tea room. Will be returning!

Another location recommended by our B&B owners and we visited for mid-morning tea and toasted tea cake. Very traditional Tea Room with old style crockery and cutlery but very clean and fresh. The only downside we found was that they did not have wifi and they only accepted cash - both of which were disappointing.

We stopped for morning coffee and cake, we were so impressed we came back for lunch. Toasted crumpets with melted cheese, tomato and lots of bacon, lovely. Great range of teas and the Chocolate cake was to die for. Staff very friendly and efficient. This is the way a tea shop should be.

Really nice tea rooms with friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous freshly made sandwiches, cakes, scones and cream teas with nice pot of tea.

Stopped for lunch and there was gluten free bread and cakes available. The staff were very knowledgeable, and particularly delicious gluten free chocolate cake! My grandson's tuna baguette looked delicious and, by the sounds of it, tasted it too!

Lovely - good, well priced food and drink and a great ambience (complete with cheeky owner!) Had just had a bad experience at one of its competitors and was really pleased to have been encouraged to try here instead. Thank you for the recommendation.

Came on a winters afternoon about 4pm, ordered cakes, of which they didn't have everything on the menu and tea. While we were having our tea and cakes, heard someone on the phone to presumably the owner, saying in an audible voice they had one in the front and only one in the last hour, (meaning customers) guess she wanted...
