The Mousetrap was about four doors from The Lansdowne where we stayed. We ate there on our second night and both of us were delighted with the meals. The pan fried chicken in a source was chosen by my wife and I had the crayfish tails followed by the steak pie. All of these dishes were of first class quality... More

Went in on a Thursday at 1:30. Asked if we'd like to eat, I said yes. Refused to serve our family of four because they had a tour group coming in. Tables were available. We're local and it seems these owners think they can just missed treat people because of all the tourism trade they get in. Won't be back

Staying directly opposite, The Mousetrap Inn was an ideal place for us to eat and drink during our holiday at Doll's Cottage. The staff are extremely polite and friendly and they made us feel very welcome. Although the pub itself is quaint and traditional in decor, the food is out of this world. All of our meals were beautifully presented... More

Ate here one night during Cheltenham festival week. It was very busy and the staff were run off their feet but did their best and served everybody promptly. The food was very good, and reasonably priced, 2 of us had starters and mains (already bought drinks at the bar) for around £35. I would advise booking a table the day... More

What a lovely little B & B! We stayed for two days in this cozy pub/restaurant. The room was very clean and modern, all the usual facilities - flat screen TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee, complimentary toiletries etc. Very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and service was very quick and attentive even checking that we had enough to eat. We ate... More

Four of us went to the Mousetrap for dinner on a Saturday evening. Lovely atmosphere and rustic feel to the place. We tried the crayfish salad which was very tasty and came with lovely fresh crusty bread. Duck wraps were equally as good and the pate was also very tasty. For mains I had scampi and chips from the lunch... More

We stayed there this weekend really welcoming, relaxing, clean, great staff, excellent food, our evening meal was delicious and the cooked breakfast set us up for the day. The room and en-suite was spacious and well laid out. Would recommend for anyone wanting to take a break from the norm.
