We stopped here this morning for brunch, it has had an extensive refurb since the photos were taken. Lovely staff, great menu selection and choice of drinks, the bonus being that we could sit outside with the dogs. Well worth a visit

Food and drinks were nice.... however... it specified on your menu, that all cakes included cream or clotted cream. I was charged £1 extra for clotted cream! I questioned this and clearly your staff were sure that it was charged extra! I think not... as it the menu cleary states: 'ALL CAKES INCLUDE CREAM OR CLOTTED CREAM. ADD DAIRY ICE... More

First visit to Capers in Southsea, seen it but not had a chance to try it out until today. Nice selection of food on the menu and I had an Americano plus a bacon and brie panini which came with crisps and salad. My partner had a pot of tea plus a cheese sandwich which also came with crisps and... More

Only had the full English breakfasts here but this little gem serves other lunch delights. Staff are very friendly and service it very good. Breakfast was a good hot feast which sets you up for the day. Well worth a visit

Went here with a friend yesterday we've never been before and we will definatly be coming back. We are vegatarians and are used to the limited boring choice on most resturant menus.... WOW what a surprise we got .....we were spoilt for choice and more impotantly delious too. They sell breakfasts and lunch time choices, it's quite small so I... More

We were looking for a change to have a late lunch and came across Capers, we ordered our food and drinks and sat by the window. When the food came it was plentiful, tasty and hot, nothing to complain about at all. My daughter and I had the filled potato skins which were very filling and very tasty, my husband... More

We visit Capers from time to time for a Sunday brunch and are usually delighted with the quality. On this occasion we were disappointed. Gone are the Buckwell sausages, gone are the free range eggs, the bacon was greasy and the smoked salmon was tasteless. We can only assume that the ingredients have been changed as the menu was the... More

Had a cheese sandwich here and partner a breakfast. Cheese advertised as mature but couldn't taste it. Not sure if mild or not much in Sandwich. Partners breakfast was OK. I ordered a scone. Tasted nice but fairly small. Very cold upstairs. Downstairs seemed very warm but all tables taken. I would go again.
