The team coped admirably with our large group. Good choice of food, my fish n chips was perfect! A Wadworth’s pub too so a great choice of ales.

Went for quick bite to eat and some real ale. Barman very knowledgeable on ales. Good variety of hand pumped ales. Had the recommended Cod and chips. Very good value for money. Am planning to come back again.

Been here a number of times before cruising with my beautiful wife and friends lovey cosy pub with great food love to real ales on here 6 pints of 6x and a walk home in the snow Lovely Would recommend

I would guess they are letting local folks know that it isn't just a tourist location. They were friendly to us and they likely realized that we were not locals.
