Drink selection was great. Went for Sunday roast (beef). Waited 45 minutes and then told that chef was new. There was mention of a delay, then would be a bit more understanding. No condiments offered. Would go for drinks but not the food.

We have been to this pub several times, it offers good value for money. You pay a reasonable price for food and the drinks are some of the cheapest in Winchester.

We were quite thirsty do popped in to quench that thirst. A nice range of beers and assorted drinks which we drank in the small back garden. Noting exceptional but a good wholesome traditional pub.

14 booked in lunch we had set menu @£7.75pp it was delicious freshly cooked and tasty. The staff were very helpful and attentive we will certainly return. Well done you did us proud especially ages ranged from 55 to 93 years old. Thank you again
