We had lunch at the Wykeham Arms, and had made a booking. It a interesting place with memorabilia everywhere, some would say clutter... The staff are excellent and provide very good service, The food is small portions, but tasty and not value for money ( expensive )

Not much to say really. Disappointed with the room, we specifically booked a Luxury room with bath tube, fault Expedia, according the the Wykeham Arms, we end up with a grotty shower room. When I read LUXURY BEDROOM I expect much better from what we have been given. The room was dark, you would need a torch if you want... More

This was always an up-market pub/restaurant. Previously Gales and long since Fullers. Nice fire. We decided not to eat as it has become very expensive. The Chateaubriand is almost £60. Beer was in excellent condition.

Have been visiting Wykeham Arms for 5 or or years and take any and every opportunity to at least grab a drink and if i'm lucky a meal. Food is always of a good, high standard and seems to be as locally sourced as possible. Not cheap but in my opinion good value.

We have eaten here before and it's been ok. Never great. The food was average but ludicrously overpriced for what it was. The service was mostly delivered by moody petulant students who had this knack.of making you feel like needed to be humoured. The pub itself is a glorious history lesson full of interest and character. Just a shame that... More

We dropped in here for a romantic lunch time meal ahead of valentines. Service was faultless, very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious. Prehaps a little more expensive than your average pub grub, but a much more interesting menu and the food was cooked to perfection. Definately worth it. Possibly one of the most charming pubs in Winchester.

A place i cannot walk past without popping in. For a city centre pub it is by far the best around. Yes its not cheap, but hey, its manned by great people and the food is interestingly different and tasty. The curved front doors are worth the visit on their own, beautiful. Great pub, probably the best pub in Winchester

Fell in love with The Wyeham Arms on my very first visit and now always make a point of coming for a drink here whenever in Winchester. I've taken several friends here and everyone agrees the place is lovely. It's packed full of character (and characters) including Max the chocolate brown labrador whose owner can frequently be found occupying the... More

First time at Wykeham with my wife for a drink. Curious about menu and the lovely set up in the dining area. Approach said area and I am confronted by 'dining only staff'-- Deputy Manager Phil-- included. Upon questioning menu options, such as nibbles, sides, I mention cost of menu to wife. Not ridiculous expensive. Not cheap. This is Winchester... More
