Whenever we visit Hereford we go to Gilbie's for lunch...its a must. In fine weather sitting outside is lovely in their courtyard. We have never had a bad meal or drink there and you get plenty for your money.

Lovely service but very noisy on our table upstairs. Food was good but not amazing this time. Would still revisit but ask for a different placement

Thank you for your review. I agree that it can get fairly loud on the upstairs tables with a full restaurant below - we are always happy for you to book a specific table or area of the restaurant if that suits your requirements better.

Description
Tucked away from the hustle and bustle in a picturesque courtyard overlooked by St. Peter's church spire. Here is, quite simply, the only place to visit if it is a continental flavour that you are looking for. Where else in this little market town could you sit outside under the canopy of a huge grapevine and enjoy a pitcher of Europe's finest beer or lager? Here is an ideal spot to relax and contemplate life whilst sipping one of the worlds many varieties of wine.
