Came here for lunch on a weekend. The food is good: just want you want from a pub lunch! The service was a bit slow however. Waited over an hour for the mains to be sent out, and other tables were served before us even though we ordered before. Also, when clearing plates, please don't stack them at the table!... More

Price of a pint of real ale was a good 30% more than the pub down the road (tax rises were blamed!!!)

Ridiculously expensive! £7.75 for a pint and a half of Peroni! Plenty of other pubs in Canterbury that are better and cheaper than this.

The Pub is very cosy and warm with a perfect atmosphere. We made a booking for Sunday Roast as we... More

Ive recently been meeting friends here on a Monday evening after work for a quiet drink. Some weeks it is very busy others moderate and peaceful but service is excellent, the ambience is very conducive and relaxing and it is generally a very pleasant, warm and friendly place to be.

Although this place looks and markets it's self as a pub, I have to be honest and say when I asked the nice young lady behind the Bar for just a pint I thought I was just in the way it is an eaterie. Everyone was either eating or just finished eating and I just felt out of place. The... More

There is a variety of burger speciality in Canterbury and the Dolphin is offering a not excellent quality of burger. Different kind of beers are available but the food is normal.

I love this pub. The burgers they do here are superb, and very rarely do I go on about coleslaw but wow it is yummy here! Great atmosphere with board games too.
