Perfect warming lunch on a snowy day. Good value and really tasty chilli. Resisted the temptation of the fabulous looking cakes!

We stopped for lunch at Rattle Ghyll after changing upon it whilst wandering round Ambleside on a grey day. What a superb find. A vegetarian cafe, it nevertheless had a number of options that appealed to omni me, and my vegetarian wife was in heaven....More

Visited this cafe again. Cake was almond and pear- lovely. My daughter was delighted with her free bag to stop people using plastic bags. Coffee good and strong. Will come again.

Had a great lunch here on a cold snowy day. Food excellent, quiche, panini, veg platter, chilli nachos, salads, the best coffee and wonderful cakes followed. Very friendly owners make everything except the bread. Very vegetarian and vegan friendly. Can’t wait to go back.
