Unassuming but cracking little veggie restaurant just off the main drag. Had the platter to start which was great and the veg chilli main course was superb- very tasty and served in a good way. Staff and owners very chatty - highly recommended.

Great coffee, lovely homemade cakes, friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Obviously a favourite with local people and well worth seeking out.

Great place for a tasty lunch. Also for excellent homemade cakes! Small restaurant but very cozy . We had salads; dipping dishes; chilli... All wonderfully served. Good drinks choice too. Best place in Ambleside for lunch!

Really friendly staff, good prices, great selection of vegetarian salads and sandwiches, and in an idyllic location with tables next to the river. Highly recommend going to visit the Rattle Gill Café and trying their famous chocolate brownie!

Great coffee, panini, home bakes from an independent with its own character. Been here loads of times. Only small but always worth waiting a few minutes if full. Long term trip advisor star.

We open our doors at 10am and serve homemade food. We stop serving savoury hot food at 3.30pm to allow us time to prep for the following day. We do still serve teas, coffees and cakes until 4.00pm. Please do come and visit and fill your hungry tummies!
