Great cafe serving delicious homemade food - perfect after a hike up Coniston Old Man. The portion sizes are big, really great value for money and friendly staff too. Will definitely return if we're in the Coniston area again.

Lovely tearoom. The shortbread was fantastic. Went with my boyfriend for a cup of tea to get warm after a walk.

Lunch was so yummy - sweet potato and lentil soup, egg mayo on granary roll...massive portions and really tasty. Spoiled for choice reading the blackboard - really wanted a scone cream tea, but knew I had no room 😟 Highly recommend!

Excellent good home cooked food. The breakfast is cooked to order and delicious. Had it twice. The smoked bacon and lentil soup with a sausage sandwich is heavenly. Had that twice. Beats a lot of the pub grub hands down. Well worth waiting to get...More

Looking through window there seemed to be no free tables but lucky for us we managed to share a table with two other diners. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and a toasted tea cake with a pot of tea. The tea arrived first with...More
