Came in for a spot of breakfast on our last day in the lakes and was not disappointed. It is a lovely little cafe with friendly staff and the food was lovely. Hats off to you

After a long drive of 4 hours on our way to the Lake District we stopped in Kendal and headed to the Union Jack for a breakfast after reading reviews on here . Can't fault it great breakfast for a great price .
Called in for breakfast a few times while in Kendal. Friendly service and good choice of breakfasts depending on your appetite. Traditional cafe serving good food. Nice coffee.
The Union Jack is always our first port of call when we're in Kendal. Food, Staff and Atmosphere are second to none. My usual is the fabulous Union Jack Grill, but you'd better be hungry!! Carol's usual is Cod and Chips; always excellent!
