The restaurant is well presented in terms of decor and lay-out. Had one of the tastiest slices of Gluten Free cake that I have ever tasted and the coffee was pleasing. The lady who served was courteous and friendly. All in all a good experience.

Visiting Kendal for the day, popped in for a cuppa and cake.. The cake display was good, so we chose whilst waiting in line, ther were 2 customers before us.. But it took nearly 10 mins for the guy on the counter to take their orders, and they were only wanting coffees and cke, and the other a soup..However the... More

We visited here late on about half 2. The girl really couldn't be bothered to serve us. Well when I say serve I mean make the drinks put them on a tray and shout us over. The food was average and so was the coffee. It's essentially a cheap canteen riding under the booths name

Nice place to do a little shopping. Pleasant staff and happy to help if you can't find something. Love the coffee. Nice little cafe down stairs but a little expensive.

Booths were offering an afternoon tea special for Mothering Sunday, their usual fantastic price of £12.50 for two with your Booths card , but with the addition of a glass of Prosecco and a gift bag and a jazz band to entertain us. Nice choice of sandwiches, scones and cake, so much to eat that we had to take some... More

Downstairs of the supermarket, a large cafe/restaurant from Booths - great cuppa and nice cakes. The food around us looked really nice too - will try one day for lunch

The food is good but the service is so slow and the staff always look flustered and unsure of themselves. The café is clean but there are often dishes left on tables for quite a long time restricting the available seating space. Please find a good manager to iron out the problems as it is otherwise an excellent café.

We weren't thrilled last time we visited Booths - a place we used to eat in often, but rarely do these days. We tried again yesterday, meeting friends in kendal for lunch. The queuing system is horrendous - staff trying to serve, take orders and prepare light snacks and coffee. The older woman who served us was clearly struggling, losing... More

Great food whilst shopping. Terrific varied menu with loads of cakes and treats. Good service, very clean and well presented. Good place to meet up with others for that lunchtime snack at reasonable price!
