We went in for a light lunch and it was very good ... but not light. I've never seen a croque Monsieur that size before! Helpful and friendly staff, even though they'd been flooded out a few days before.

We had an excellent late light lunch (well presented and tasty salad), good teas, friendly staff, convenient to town centre.
My wife&I visited the tea room today ordered tea & scones very disappointed as the scones where stale & cheap butter also waitress was sat on counter flicking her hair next to uncovered scones expensive and will not be going back !! 👎
Have used this restaurant numerous times and always find it excellent for a quick tasty lunch. Both the chef and his wife cannot do enough to make sure you are fully satisfied.
Best coffee and freshly home baked cakes in Kendal. Lovely menu and great people. Fresh Bean coffee from Atkinsons in Lancaster. TS is better than any chain!
