Visited this relaxed yet professional cafe/bar with a strong Spanish flair for a brunch. Was quite busy but service was still good and had a little wait for the food but drinks arrived quickly. The coffee (flat white) was really smooth and nice - almost as good as the best I've had, in Madrid of all places. We both chose... More

My husband & I (& Minnie the dog) visited this restaurant today & the food & service were great! We'd had a long day walking & decided to call in for a late lunch - we chose 6 tapas dishes between us, each one was tasted great & were decent sized portions. I'd highly recommend the sardines on toast &... More

Was on a visit to Keswick from our home in Carlisle and on the way to the gallery nearby we spotted this little gem. We managed to get a great spot next to the window at a busy Saturday lunchtime ; the weather was typically Lake District and so many visitors were seeking shelter in various cafes/pubs. We were greeted... More

We called in as I fancied a coffee and a cake and my friends a cocktail / glass of wine . . . one of our party fancied a lemoncello cocktail which was advertised on a chalk board but we were told it was only available when dining, even though all the ingredients were visible behind the bar. I asked... More

Visited here just before Christmas. The food was acceptable tapas food but was, in my opinion, overpriced for what was on offer. Also, some of the items were not as described e.g. parma ham with figs actually came with melon instead of figs (with no explanation from staff), and 1/2 loaf of bread was more like the size of a... We called for a quick coffee before leaving the area, and the staff could hardly have been more helpful. Food being served looked good, but we didn't try anything as we were on our way elsewhere. Enjoyed it enough to warrant reviewing it and will definitely eat here next time in the area.

Just popped in for a drink yesterday evening - loved their extensive gin and tonic menu with range of accompaniments! Also loved the laid back atmosphere! Will certainly be going back.

Delicious, friendly and unexpected, when so many menus are just variations of the same old dishes we enjoyed the best Spanish style brunch ever, superbly cooked and piping hot (so many places serve tepid food). All four of us ordered a different dish and all four of us were delighted with our choices, it's not complicated stuff it's simple stuff... More
