I first visited this tearoom when I was pregnant with my son (who is now coming up 13), having seen it recommended in Rick Stein's Food Heroes book. I wasn't disappointed - lovely big wooden tables, jugs of wild flowers on every surface and food...More

This is a must for those who like home baking. The mill provides the flour for a large range of home baking products. Friendly staff and good tea and coffee makes this an ideal place for morning or afternoon tea. Vegetarian.

Deserves your support - championing local, organic food. Decent hot chocolate - didn't try food. Peer in the mill windows or take the tour if possible too.

This little gem was a welcome watering hole after our walk. Lemon cake was delicious and the tea was a good brew. The lady who served as could not have been more helpful and sad willing to share one of her recipes
