Been to many Yates over the years and this has to be the worst. Terrible beer and even worse food. Uninterested staff with little or no clue about what they should be doing. Beer and food was left mostly untouched on the table and we went elsewhere

Lovely helpful staff ensured we knew exactly what was available and what wasn't. A good selection of food was available at reasonable prices.

We stopped in here after walking along the prom in gale force winds and torrential rain. So glad we did. Lovely wee family friendly pub. Meals were excellent and a fantastic price. 2 meals for £8.59 so wasn't expecting much but I was really impressed. Kids loved their meals. Dessert was perfect. Returned for a second night for dinner as... More

Not a very welcoming sight on entering. The decor is drab. Holes in the ceiling. Food was mediocre to say the least. I was given scrambled egg with my gammon because the gas had been condemned. My wifes meal was bland to say the least. I do have to say though the waiting on staff were great. It needs smartening... More
