This was our first visit to Cafe Roma, but definitely won’t be our last. I booked the restaurant on the strength of its reviews, the menu looked extensive and it was so well located for a pre theatre meal (only 3 minutes walk to the...Curve). The restaurant is quite unassuming however the food was really delicious and the staff were super friendly. I do wish we’d asked the name of our lovely waitress because she was so welcoming and deserving of a special mention. We ordered a pizza and a calzone; both were really tasty. The lemon cheese cake was divine and the coffee was excellent. Portions were generous, too. Well done Cafe Roma!More
I had a lovely meal here and the £6 offer is good value with a soft drink,Pasta meal and garlic bread included. The Waiting staff were nice, especially the one with blonde hair who helped us out and went the extra mile to assist us.
I visited for lunch today with my parents and everything was perfect. My dad loves his coffee and rated this one highly. We had the meatballs and spaghetti bolognese which were delicious and really authentic. The new garlic bread was impressive and the fresh, homemade...Tiramisu was a delightful dessert. Great value for money and generous portions.
As always, the personal service at Cafe Roma was first class. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was immaculately presented and clean. I have been a few times now over the last few years and have never been disappointed. I must visit more often.
A huge thank you to the owner, Azziza, and her team for their consistently-high standards. My parents will also be back as they were impressed.More
Omg if anyone remembers Joe Rigatoni’s from the 90s in Leicester , we’ll this is the replacement for it . Great service , great food absolutely amazing .We are definitely going to be regulars at this one .
First time we've been for dinner (after trying lunch previously) and the place was busy so definitely reserve a table, although you may get lucky with a walk in. The staff are lovely and very accommodating, even managing to fit in those without a reservation....We had lasagne and the pork escalope in masala sauce with mushrooms - both dishes were really tasty.
Order an Aperol Spritz here too - absolutely spot on! Better than many i've had in Italy.
Highly recommend the Cassata for dessert, ice cream with candied fruit with marsala wine, sooo good!More
Been here many times with Mum. She was braving some post-lockdown eating. Roma still as it always has been. Mum had her usual half portion Spag Bol. I went for a minestrone and a slightly spicy main dish which was nice. Choccy pudding and a...couple of moretti beers. Didn't think I was that hungry.
Basically the same as it's always been and there's no problem with that.More
We visited bar Roma on Saturday 7th August for our friends wedding reception upstairs and it was AMAZING.
Azizza the owner had decorated the room to perfection and the food was outstanding.
Becca the waitress was brilliant, no one had to wait for their glass...to be refilled it was like she had a second sense, how she and Azizza ran up those stairs all day I don't know but I can say the whole experience from start to finish was amazing.
I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in making our best friends reception amazing.More
