Good quality food from an extensive menu. Interesting specials available. Cosy establishment. Seemed very popular as filled up quickly during lunchtime. Friendly staff.

Absolute Knock-out place to eat in the day in Leicester. Brilliant food, large portions at a very fair price. Attentive and pleasant staff. The Small Traditional breakfast filled me up completely - for £4.95 its excellent value. So popular, it does get busy but service...is still good, gives you time to chat.More

First visit to Mrs Bridges and I wasn’t disappointed ! The food was excellent and extremely tasty. I had Chicken & Bacon penne to takeaway. Food was a great temperature even when I’d gotten back to work to eat it. The pasta was perfectly cooked....I’m in the catering industry myself and I was very impressed. A vast menu for eating in and takeaway was impressive especially with some Covid rules remaining in place. Very friendly staff , who were all being Covid compliant. I will definitely be back and I will be recommending to friend and family.More

Nice location. Traditional foods with a twist. We had the Caspian - sweet waffle, cream cheese, smoked salmon (lots of it!) avocado, poached eggs, caviar. Served with extra toast. The Callie - sourdough toast, bacon, spinach, poached eggs and a delicious, smooth smoked haddock cream....INSPIRED COOKING Great service and COVID SAFE. picture of the Caspian:More

Called in as was visiting Leicester. Staff pleasant and service was good. Food was average to poor. Chicken and avocado sandwich was ok for a sandwich which was around £6. Home made chips were crunchy perhaps fried twice.. the biggest disappointment was the lemon drizzle...cake served with a scoop of ice cream. Considering this is a tearoom this was basically a small piece of cold (stored in a fridge) eggy bundt cake chopped up with a small amount of lemon icing on it. Im a baker and this was far from a decent lemon drizzle. For £5.50 I’d expect it to be better quality. Most cakes should be served at room temperature not be served straight from the fridge.More

Had the hunters breakfast with mushrooms and a pot of green tea and sat out in the cute courtyard. Great, attentive service, very yummy food & good portion sizes. I got a slice of the vanilla sponge to takeaway & it was delicious. Definitely coming...back!More
