Well we use go to the cedars a lot
But it has gone down hill over the last 5 years or so
But today for me did it I had the moby dick it arrived served on a
Silver sandwich tray did not like it...at all ate a little left most of it.
My wife enjoyed her steak n ale pie
We went for Sunday lunch which is noon the menu big mistake in my opinion.
Staff were very nice young waitress said I should of said something but I didn't know that was how it was going to be served!
Anyway she came back and said next time just tell you want it on a plate
My reply was this will be the last time I'll coming
(Note to king Henrys improve the food or lose your customers.)More
I just want to say thank you to Catl and the team for another great meal, they are a credit to this pub. My father in law and I had the 2 steak deal and I have to say it was top notch. The steak...was so beautifully cooked that it just melted in your mouth. We were a groups of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meals. My only gripe would be the sauce sachets! They dont seem to open, it might be possibly worth investing in bottles of sauce. We will all definitely be backMore
Worse meal we have had at cedars acter coming for many years , sf chicken burger well over cooked , to hard to eat and could cut with a knife, bun/bread not even toasted , the middlesborough parma , wasnt butterfly chicken as stated but...over cooked chicken strips , didnt have what stated on the menu ,kids tikka almost cold , always recommend but wouldnt now very disappointedMore
Booked a table for lunch. Ordered food from an extensive menu so hopes were high. Cutlery was brought to the table and 3 out of the 4 forks were dirty. Food arrived not the best I’ve seen or tasted. Sons cottage pie was sunk in...the middle, no colour on the top and a tiny layer of meat at the bottom. My dinner, chicken strips 2 ways and 3 mini ribs with curly fries and sweet corn. Food was lukewarm and the corn looked like it had been around a while. Husbands the same. Best meal was the tagliatelle which daughter in law ordered. Sorry but won’t be returning.More

Just wanted to pipe up to the person who is offended by 'estates' and 'cheap food'. For someone so superior in society I'd expect much better grammar. I shall be demanding that offsted review Eton at once!
