We weren`t planning on pizza but glad we did! Freshly cooked, piping hot and huuuugeee. Glad we got a doggy bag and the leftovers were just as good the next day.! We had starters of garlic mushrooms with salad. Nice pint of Tiger and a...water and £34 all in. Bargain, fresh food, lovely ambiance with attentive but not overbearing service. No faults at all.More

My favourite spot on the street. It's a relaxing pub, whose vibe works. Yes, there's a chain pub aesthetic, with a by-numbers design of open spaces, wood furniture, alcoves, that makes for a lack of quirkiness or intimacy. But it's a clean, relaxed environment, and...a civilised place to drink, which can't be said for all the city centre pubs. They do OK food and good drinks, and the lumberjack-shirted staff are friendly as well as on the ball. On a sunny day, the seating outside is as good a spot as any to watch the world go by.More

We called in for an afternoon tipple and glancing over a very interesting menu decided on some dishes and ales wed never come across before. They were splendid!, so much we returned three further times the same day as we sauntered around the city centre....I found the best ale I have ever come across and the menu has become a challenge to try everything on there. We went back a week after with friends who loved it as much as we did. The staff are so good and charming. Its a pleasure to be there.More

Oh dear Queen of Bradgate..... Leicester couple who visit your lovely pub very regularly ( both over 50s) find themselves visiting you today at 5pm having a lovely time... Only to be refused at 10pm ( me and my wife alone ) because I have...white trainers on ( not allowed after 9pm but ok at 5pm .... Confused !!!) .. Even more confusing is the next young lady in the queue walked in.... With...drumroll... White trainers on.... . Goodbye QOB....Not impressive to treat your regulars this way....More

Went here because the pub we tried nearby wasn't serving food - so glad because we loved the food, beers, cocktails and hidden garden at the Queen of Bradgate. From outside it looked a bit like a chain pub, but looks were definitely deceptive. Really...friendly staff, great selection of interesting international beers, fab food - we had a selection of tapas dishes. All freshly cooked, beautifully presented and decent portions. Great value.More

Stopped here for a late lunch. Had a really warm welcome and the friendly service continued throughout. I had the pork and chorizo burger, which I wouldn’t order again, though there was nothing wrong with it; just not particularly to my taste. The house lager,...Freedom, was good. I’d definitely go again.More

My inebriated brethren and I arrived at the old Bradgate with anticipation and enthusiasm. What wine should we partake in? What scran should we digest? We were in turmoil, we didn't know what to expect. As we sat down we were greeted by the lovely...artist Catia. We decided on a delightful bottle of Merlot, paired with VG gnocchi and chilli. We. We're. Stunned. Beautiful service and food, couldn't of hoped for a better Wednesday night DELIGHTFUL. SENSATIONAL. 12/10 WOULD RECOMMEND TO ME NAN. I LOVE YOUUUUMore
