We decided to go out and have a quiet, hide away lunch, almost romantic but we are getting a bit old for romance. Pyewipe is off the beaten track, hidden away by the river. The day we were there is was very windy and raining and being sat in a window seat watching the weather outside was very pleasant. They... More

We had a friend visiting Lincoln, and chose the Pyewipe having heard good recommendations from friends and family. When we arrived the staff were a bit reluctant to greet us. We were happy with with the drink choices, good ales and lagers. When the food arrived, the fish pie, lunch sausage & bubble and squeak and the chicken in sauté... More

Stayed as a group of 6 as part of a family birthday. Very impressed with the bedrooms, beautifully clean and everything you could need. Only thing would say is that they were slightly on the warm side! But better that way than too cold! Food in the restaurant was beautiful, really couldn't fault it. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of it!... More

Called in for lunch. Good food served in a timely manner. Only very minor complaint is that we were not very warm

Visited today for lunch. Having worked in hospitality for a number of years, I would certainly expect a lot more from my staff. With a half empty restaurant and 3 members of staff chatting. We waited 10 minutes to even have a drink order taken. Food was fine. Can't complain. Other than maybe another slice of beef with the roast.... More

Mr Biscuits like's a big Sunday dinner and that's what he got. Traditional and tremendous. The Mrs loves it, the old folks do and so do the young ones. They're the future. Bang on!

This is a really lovely pub beside the canal that you can walk along into Lincoln. The food is great and you get plenty of it. The beers are also good. It is lovely to sit outside and watch any boats going down the canal especially when the sun is shining

We had family Christmas dinner book just after Christmas. We expected very good food and not that great service as we coming to Pyewipe for lunches. But this time service was really good, but we had some problem with food, even when we complained it was sorted. We definitely will be back.
