Had the loveliest afternoon at the Malmaison. Was served by lovely, friendly, efficient staff both on the bar and whilst being sat eating and drinking. The sandwiches are lovely (egg mayonnaise, cream cheese and smoked salmon and chicken burgers)....I'm not a big lover of smoked...More

We visited here for my daughter's 21st birthday meal with family. Firstly we found it a bit difficult to locate and parking was an issue. We had to drive through an industrial estate and it felt a little unsafe. Parking was in the multi story...More

Had our Christmas dinner here today. The staff were lovely, the food was average and had that 'mass catering' quality about it. Dry, hard roast potatoes and dried out Christmas pudding. Definitely not fine dining and not worth a return visit in my opinion.

We've just revisited the restaurant for dinner tonight to celebrate. Such a disappointing dinner as we have been looking forward to fine dining [supposedly] which turned out to be an excitement killer. The starter was mediocre while the main course was insipid. Even before tasting...More
