Good old traditional pub with roaring log fire and real ales on draught which were of excellent quality. Reminds me of the sort of place I grew up in. Most people were in my age group of forty plus

We had a few drinks in here prior to a Rod Stewart concert and found it to be welcoming, except for the guy behind the bar with the beard, no customer service skills whatsoever. That aside the girl serving the bar more than made up for it.

Fine old pub offering traditional bar food and cask ales including one brewed on the premises by the landlord which got our vote. Homemade pies, peas and chips and 'scouse' with red cabbage attracted our attention. Plumped for pies for lunch. Very tasty and reasonably priced. Landlord very knowledgeable about beers. CAMRA PUB

The main thing with this pub is a well kept selection of real ales from a selection of mainly local brewers. These are all listed on a black board or the side of the bar which also has helpful tasting notes. The selection is broad, ranging from a light summer ale to a mild and two good stouts. Fellow drinkers... More

The Baltic Fleet is a lovely 'proper pub' with a superb choice of well kept Real Ales and loads of character. We haven't eaten there yet but the food looks yummy.

A nice traditional pub with it's own brewed ales to try. The staff is very nice and friendly. A great find in Liverpool

Having spent a couple of hours at the Tate gallery we thought we'd try the Baltic Fleet for lunch as I was at school with the landlord 30 years ago and had never been. What a treat! A really genuine pub stuffed full of families, couples, locals and tourists alike. Our party had steak pie & chips (twice), gammon egg... More

So we went for lunch, but they don't do lunch Mondays and Tuesdays. However, this after all a historic old pub, and the lay out, seating, shape and design, and decor are wish lists alone for a visit. Had a couple of pints there, and the barman was very helpful with recommending the real ales on offer. This was complemented... More

Enjoyed a couple of drinks in this pub while staying in Ibis Hotel which is very close by and met some very nice local people Some original features in this pub which we were told has been there for many years and its name connected to when the docks were in full use and the" Baltic Fleet " would have... This pub came highly recommended from recent reviewers, so four of us decided to call in during a recent visit to Liverpool. It is honestly the worst pub we were ever in. Its quite dingy really, and the staff member was the most unfriendly person I ever met. There were about 6 patrons in the pub on a Friday afternoon,... More

A great little hidden gem. One of the best range of beers in Liverpool, fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff. Just 2mins from the historic Albert Dock.
