Had a nice meal here before our gig on Monday night, it was relatively quiet but then again it was a Monday! My friends ordered from the set menu for £14 and really enjoyed their burgers! I had the prawns which were lovely but a weird main dish to have with fries! Service was good and the Zinfandel wine was... More

Walking past we decided to pop in for late lunch, was a bit disappointed to see no 5/5 specials but maybe that all happens later. We had a pram and baby but it was no problem as there was ample space between tables. The food was really tasty and fresh, batter on the fish tacos was well seasoned and light.... More

Good stylish Mexican food, don't expect proper Mexican street food. At Savinas you will get Mexican restaurant food with a twist, more like the american chain Chilli's. Very good service and not bad price. Ordered the cheesecake for dessert and was not dissapointed. Definitely will go back to this place.

Table of 5 for a friend birthday. We were seated in a booth which in my opinion is suited to 4 people but I didn't want to make a fuss. Nachos to start which were all soggy with a bit of crispiness left of the edges. I prefer my nacho to be crunchy. Main was chicken fajitas for me which... More

There are cheaper Mexican restaurants around but you get what you pay for here. The food is of a very good quality and the portions are large. The staff were friendly.

Went to savina Saturday night to try Mexican, something we don't have very often. Got to be honest, it was a revelation. Apart from the one criticism, that they need to turn the lights on (it's the darkest restaurant in the world. I had to use the torch on my phone to read the menu), it was brilliant. Beef adobe... In town for a whistle stop visit and visited Savina early Saturday afternoon to impress guests with this well recommended venue. Because of the time of day, initially it was quiet, but shortly afterwards other parties arrived and a pleasant quiet hum of conversation started. We started with the usual favourites of Mojitos and Mexican Chelada beer and all lived... More

Savina Mexican Restaurant and Cantina is a stylish eatery on Duke Street in Liverpool with a bustling, vibrant atmosphere and delicious Mexican food. With wooden floors, floor-to-ceiling windows and dark wooden furniture, the dining room has a warm, cosy ambience and is frequented by a fashionable local crowd. We recommend the Pescados de Chipotle – prawns and scallops cooked in white wine, chilli, lemon, coriander and chillies served with warm tortillas; the Nachos Supreme topped with spicy chicken, cheese and pico de gallo, topped with soured cream and guacamole; and the Pescados Especial Fajitas – king prawns, mussels and scallops with onions, mushrooms and peppers. Savina boasts a cosmopolitan cocktail bar with red leather sofas for pre/post dinner drinks.
