We ordered a takeaway as family members were visiting us in Liverpool and we wanted them to experience the fabulous Mayur food. When we got home we realised the staff had forgotten to put our poppadums into the bag, so I phoned to tell them, and they sent round a taxi with a waiter who delivered us a bag full... More

We entertained 25 people for dinner and in doing our research prior to booking, this was by far the most helpful and accommodating Indian restaurant in the city. A set menu was tailored to our needs, together with special meals for the non Indian food lovers amongst us. The restaurant is very nicely laid out and decorated. The staff were... More

Recently visited here for a pre theatre meal. What can I say from phoning to make the reservation everyone in the team was so helpful and friendly. Lovely ambience, spotlessly clean, bright and airy. Food is delicious and you can taste the fresh ingredients. I had Popadoms very light and tasty. Chicken chaat really flavoursome and for main Lamb Bhutan... More

I went there with 4 others. There were so many choices that we opted for the Ruby menu/banquet. The food was very good and (too) plentiful. I felt like I was in India. My only regret is to not have had a dish of paneer included in our selection.

Superb fine dining experience. The building was perfect; the curries were amazing and perfectly spiced (not too hot / not too mild). The waitresses were very smiley and friendly, looked after us and made us very very welcome. The supervisor on duty looked a little lost, following the waitresses around, doing jobs that had already done, and seemed a little... More

This restaurant was recommended to me by the hotel concierge. Great recommendation. Food was wonderful as was the service. If you're in Liverpool and looking for a good meal, I would highly recommend Mayur.

This place had a great write up and indeed it did have a great almosphere. But the chef wouldn't depart from the set menu to just add some spinach and chick pee dish and the curry wasn't spicey enough for either of us ( we had their hottest/ spiciest dishes)
