Been to a number of Goucho restaurants in London and had to say this is the most disappointing 1 every - had to wait for 45 minutes for our Wine to arrive after asking a number of times - when are food arrived it was placed at the incorrect setting and we had to sort ourselves out. The staff cleared... More

Gauchos not only offers great food, great drinks and service but also a performance. As soon as you walk in, a theatre of food is provided for you, from viewing the raw slabs of meat, hearing the uniqueness of each cut to the exceptional wine list, where each wine has its own story to tell. Its an incredible place to... More

Went here on a date and wow, does it impress. Very lovely decor and friendly staff to welcome you. No booking but managed to a get a table for two upstairs. Ordered steak and it was amazing. Highly recommend this place for dates or as a treat with family and friends. Well worth the money.

Smart place just down from the Law Society. Friendly service. Loved the display and explanation of the various cuts on the meat board. We had empanadas and the chicken livers to start. Former were a bit small and wouldn't get them again. Better to go straight to the main course. Went for the medium rump steak. That was a lot... More

This is a meat restaurant. I'd say 90% of their orders for mains is meat. Then it is not ok to fail with the meat. We got not one but two raw pieces when ordered medium rare. To be fair (and the reason our rating is still ok) the staff handled the situation very well. They were extremely sorry about... More

I have worked on Chancery Lane for 18 years and this is the first time I have been!! what a missed opportunity. We were a party of 4 for my daughters's 25th birthday. Food was excellent and the wine equally so. Apparently they have over 90 different Malbec wines to choose from. Clearly the main reason you go is for... More

We chose this place as we were looking for somewhere that accepted reservations and accepted children since we had our baby in push chair asleep... The booking was done early. We arrived and table was ready. The place is nice and the atmosphere good and spacious. The service was also very good from the manager to the waitresses. The starters... More

We went to Gaucho to celebrate my birthday. We order provoletta as starter, chorizo and fillet. The meat was amazing just as we like. The table hosts and the people who attend us were so kind and they give us the best service ever. They made felt us as we were at Argentina, they explained the different cuts of the... More

Our confirmed reservation was for 8.15. We were finally given a table at 9pm after requesting to be seated three times, with no meaningful apology for the delay. The bill arrived at the end of our meal with no concession made for the extreme inconvenience suffered - it included the drinks we'd had at the bar (just one each) whilst... More
