I was looking forward to coming back but the menu seems to have shrunk and the portions - 3 tiny tiny bits of octopus with some potato and croutons... that's not a portion! Had the risotto - quite tasty but again tiny. Wine good ... Not sure we will be back Shame

Dinner last Sunday. Not many people in the place.. We had jamón ibérico (half dish, which was ridiculously small) and octopus (many potatoes and greens and not that much octopus). The ham was nice and the octopus OK but both things too pricy.

Lovely lunch. Tapas were very fresh and well presented. Bottle of red wine very good as well. Cosi and chilled atmosphere.

Dehesa came highly recommended by a family member who lived in London before moving back to Scotland. We were visiting on a two night trip from Scotland and this was just the place for an early evening meal/drink before going to the theatre. Service was efficient and friendly. The food was excellent with a very good variety of dishes. It... More

Looking for a lazy late afternoon bite to eat and drinks, we walked in on Sunday afternoon and were very pleasantly surprised by this place. Not a huge menu but the charcuterie was tremendous and everything else we tried was of a similar standard, with the octopus being my favourite. The recommended wine was beautiful and the service was friendly... More

I have been going to Dehesa on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. The food is tasty, reasonably priced, and authentic. The service is very good and the wine list is brilliant. Their outdoor terrace is heated and even in winter you can sit outside on a non rainy day.

I came here on a first date (his suggestion). I was impressed with the food and extensive wine list. Lovely Albariño to start and the courgette flowers drizzled in honey were absolutely superb. None of the other dishes disappointed, jamon, octopus and fried chicken. It was all fabulous and staff solicitous without being intrusive. Would definitely go back again... if... More

I can't fault this place on quality of food/wine or ambience - only on the price! Though its very central location is undoubtedly the reason for the bill - approximately £60 for two people eating a few bar snacks and imbibing a couple of glasses of wine. But... excellent quality all round; authentic and delicious jambon, cheese, croquettas, and helpful,... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
