I've been into Waxys twice now, both times lunchtime or early afternoon when it has been very quiet but found it to be a very comfortable environment with friendly polite staff. There is enough seating in both quiet and more busy areas and there is...More

Definitely on my opinion one of the best and most characteristic pub in London. The interiors are stunning, there is even a huge tree inside. Have multiple room on different floor, so if you want to have a beer in a quiet spot you can...More

I went here for a friend's birthday, i would have never notice this place otherwise because of the little entrance door. Once you arrive at the end of the stairs the view is incredible, is like a gothic cathedral built underground. The building is very...More

Visited here early afternoon and place was empty which lost the atmosphere. It’s clearly a trip advisor classic with lots of tourists. However lots of different beers on offer, the place is huge and really unique decor. Definitely worth at least a drink in.

Waxy’s is a great venue. Spread over three floors descending under London, its increasingly high ceiling as you descend to the main bottom bar means it is not claustrophobic, but the nooks and crannies equally give it an intimate feel in places. The use of...More

Having visited the pub off Leicester square on numerous occasions I went in there for a brief visit with our daughter. One member of staff could not answer if children were aloud and a off duty member stated that it was over 18 as it...More

Hello, It's a shame that you did not to read the notice that is the at all the entrances stating we are strictly an over 18's venue. This is a condition on our licence set by Westminster council. I will make this clearer for all...More

Mate, this place is super busy at the weekend but it's also really expensive. There are much better places than this nearby! Have a look around!
