Good place to meet up with friends before grand lodge. Right outside grand lodge Queen Street ideal meeting point. Good pleasant service, good beer 🍻 and food, fair priced for London.

Two seniors visited for a spot of lunch and were delighted that we did. An interesting interior with the two massive pillars in the centre, but little more of the decor makes it special, apart from a delightful ambience and very pleasant staff. Pricing here is remarkably good, from the drinks to the food. If this establishment can do it,... More

Have known this pub many years, always a buzz here especially given it's association with Freemasons Hall across the road. Great genuine pub, can get a little loud & busy but that all adds to the atmosphere. Good food, great ales & for London the beer prices are cheaper than out of the metropolis!

Have frequented this pub on several occasion over the last 3 months. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the sound level of the music and the sport broadcasts from the TV is so loud you can not hear yourself think. Pub becomes exceptionally busy during the 'Masonic season' which resulted in starters and main courses being brought... More

Found this pub between Covent Garden and Holborn tube stations. It was a superb find! Looking for a good place on a Saturday lunchtime, we passed many pubs in Covent and then found this place which tempted us in mainly thanks to its name and being sort of out of the main area of Covent. We would not class this... More

What a great pub. Fantastic ambience, great staff, good beer, good food. Always a welcoming atmosphere. A favourite whenever I'm in The Grand Connaught Rooms, right opposite their front entrance. Good place to meet, or retreat to when having any function at the Connaught Rooms, but equally capable of being a great destination in its own right.

Popped in a for a lunchtime bite to eat and a drink, friendly bar staff although a bit disorganized. If you order food make sure you get a numbered spoon and when food is served cutlery is provided. Ordered the steak in a baguette, wow, see photo, amazing value. Others ordered the chicken club sandwich, that was maga too. And... More

Dropped in here before going to a show. Fun atmosphere, music perhaps a little loud, plenty of people - buzzing Gin menu, and good food, what could be better
