Arrived for what we thought was going to be a special meal out in London. food was very poor and we were ripped off on the price of the meal as the management when we came to pay for the meal. they really did a number on us and managed to refuse a deal we had and scam money out... More

Going there at 4.30 on a weekday was very bizarre. There was only one staff and we were told that we must wait until 5pm to order as chef will be arriving around that time. The waiter seemed not so enthusiastic waiting for us although we got two free pappadooms. As most restaurants although you already paid the deal from... More

We have often visited Drummond At but this was our first supper at the Masala Hut. The mains were excellent and the sides good. Reasonably priced. Service was fine - quick but not pushy.

This restaurant does a great lunchtime buffet. It will cost you around 10 pounds including a drink, which honestly is not too bad. However, there was not much spice, no sight of any paneer and it was a bit bland. I don;t think I would go back unless they decided to spice things up a bit and add some more... More

We went for a "work do" with a large group of people. The waiters were incredibly kind and patient, even when a lot more people showed up than initially planned and there was a lot of table reshuffling! The food was extremely delicious, good sized portions and meat and one of the best lamb atcharis I have ever tasted! Much... More

Two of us arrived for our meal with a Wowcher which said £19 for £50 spend. However, this is limited to a starter, a main, and either a rice or naan per person. You couldn't get a selection of side dishes for example. On arrival, a waiter told us we got a free glass of wine with our Wowcher. We... More

Visited on a Friday night with three friends. All four of us were extremely disappointed with the food. We had a mixed grill tandoori starter which was tasteless and underspiced and cold. The main dishes we ordered were very very oily. The Korai fish had a minimal amount of fish in it and had more onions then fish and was... More

Surrounded by endless other Indian restaurants it must be difficult to shine. Nice décor and comfortable seating. Different levels seems to keep noise levels reasonable. The food is the standard Indian selection and all were properly cooked and served quickly and hot. Beer was good and cold. Plan you trip to the loo well ahead. This area needs improving. I... More

Traditional Indian cuisine. Great for a group, as you can share almost all dishes. We tasted different Tandoori chicken and lamb, chicken Roghan... and everything was good. As much spicy as you like. Friendly service. Good price (less than 30£, beers included). For dinner, midweek, no reservation required, even for a group.
