I had dinner here on a work trip as it was the top rated local restaurant on TA. I had the chicken and leek pie and it was really good wholesome pub grub. Very reasonably priced and good friendly service. The IPA I had a pint of was also really good (though didn't catch the name of it, hadn't seen... More

The place had good vibes and good choice of beers . I had a burger which was only OK (probably because of some spices that ruined it a little for me somehow) , nevertheless the whole experience felt very good and pretty cheap.

Visited this Ale house after trip in London. Very friendly people, Food - hot, tasty and large portions. Quick service. Food arrived after ordering in 12 Minutes. Good value for money in London. Would recommend it, Quite busy but worth it.

Headed up to King's Cross and needed a place to eat before heading to Wembley to see Spurs (what a disappointment!). We had done a quick recce the week before and spoken to Keith (from Derry) behind the bar. What a lovely, friendly chap! Anyway, we got there about 5.40 p.m., walked in and went to the bar for a... Had a very enjoyable lunch yesterday at The Skinners Arms. It was my first visit and I chose the pub based on the other good reviews. I booked a table for lunch and the four of us had a really good meal. We all ordered steak and ale pie and the sticky toffee pudding so I can only vouch for... More

We were let down by another pub in the locality but managed to get a table here. This was the best bad thing to happen to us as the Skinners is a real find - good beer, great food and a welcoming landlord. Highly recommended.

Visited this pub as a possible post walk venue for a group of walkers that I was due to lead along the Regents Canal. This is what I would call a proper pub with good old fashioned service, decent range of beers and good moderately priced food. I requested some information i.e. when were last orders for lunchtime meals etc.,... More

A group of four of us visited the Skinners Arms yesterday evening at 9pm after a long day walking around London. The pub is very well positioned being a short walk from Euston, St Pancreas & Kings Cross train stations so is a good stop to catch a drink or two when arriving or catching a train! The pub had... Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
