Visited around 6:00 mid week and there was plenty of room. The pub has a warm atmosphere with an assortment of chairs, sofas, etc. The mulled wine was very good (its almost Christmas) and the food was delivered promptly and was very tasty. The staff are helpful and pleasant. Would recommend for lunch or dinner.

If this place were anywhere else you would snort derisively if presented with a £21 bill for two glasses of wine, half a dozen onion rings and some soggy chips. Yet it's in the heart of Chelsea. So you tolerate it. The place itself is practical, and low in charm. It's very big so over 100 people can fit comfortably... More

Recently moved into the area so testing out a few of the local pubs/restaurants,,,,went to The Trafalgar last night for a couple of pints and a quick bite to eat-ordered the Triple baked Macaroni Chees-I was asked if I wanted a small or regular portion and opted for the regular-it was tasty but the portion was small-can only imagine that... Booked a table for my parents anniversary on a Sunday! The manager recognisesd us from previous visits and treated us to a bottle of prosecco to toast my parents anniversary. We all had Roasts. I had lamb and it was delicious. The desserts were great too. Really lovely, friendly staff and dog friendly too. An extremely pleasant afternoon.

I've been here a few times with my friends and the food is good/average pub grub. I had chicken burger and chips both times. The chips were tasty and well cooked, as was the chicken burger, (although maybe a bit bland). Would drink and eat here again. Also the staff were friendly.

Wonderful location, most comfortable, but the food is marginal. Running out of roast beef by 3:00 on a Sunday, and it was not even a rainy day. Unforgiveable

Hi Dave, Please expect my apologies for this. We have been running on low stock levels over the summer as roasts are not as popular & we were suddenly unexpectedly busy last week so did sell out unforgivably early. I hope you accept my apologies & return for another visit on a Sunday where I will make sure you are... More

An apprehensive second visit for Sunday lunch three weeks ago, as our first over a year ago was a bit of a disaster. We were very pleasantly surprised! The pub was clean and bright, the staff friendly and effcient. The Sunday lunch roasts were superb and served promptly with a smile. The location is ideal for us when we visit... More

For such a posh area, this pub had a really nice feel and atmosphere. Food was tasty, and hot. I had the chicken, avocado and bacon burger. Coleslaw was definitely home-made. Wine was reasonably priced for the area, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again and disappear another 4 hours!

Avoid at all costs. My boyfriend ordered a beer which was flat. The manager was not willing to accept this and gave us a patronising look of contempt and stated 'I can see lots of bubbles in it'. We asked him to taste it which he refused to do before extremely begrudgingly changed to another pint. I had ordered a... More

Called in here for a drink and was presently surprised. A nice atmosphere friendly staff and a wide range of beers the food was expensive for what it is , but it is on the King's Road. All in all very nice .

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
